offered to quantitatively estimate the effect that reducing specific
behavioral risks by target levels has on the population health.
The purpose of the method is to give a logical and empirical basis for public health decision makers in setting priorities for public health campaigns and interventions. The method provides a ranking of candidate health programs based on the estimated effect of each program on the morbidity and mortality. |
