The author is a pediatrician, researcher on
medical informatics and telemedicine, and a postgraduate student in Informatics
(M.Sc.) and Medical Informatics (Dip).
Since 1993 he has been a member of diverse e-mail discussion lists, and since 1997 he assumed roles as moderator of discussion lists and administrator of listservers. This is a set of slides about the way e-mail discussion lists work, how to subscribe to discussion lists and how to find lists about particular themes.
