In the early 90-s within the worsened economic situation the general death-rate increased from 6.5%o in 1987 to 8%o in 1993. The birth-rate decreased from 20.9%o to 10.7%o. It was registered also the significant increase of mental diseases and neurotic violations. The death-rate in the mental diseases group doubled in 1995 as against 1986, and got to its maximum in 1993. We must mention dramatic increase of death-rate in the blood circulation diseases group from 287.5 in 1985 to 445.25 in 1993 ( in Yerevan ).
