Governance is not new…….in a sense it has been part of Medicine since Hippocrates. “To cure sometimes, to relieve often and to comfort always”. The recent emphasis is an attempt to bring the different strands together. i.e. Audit, Research, Quality, Education and Research and to knit them together for the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. |
