According to the information
presented in the previous slides, the degree of internal validity of this study is
presumably high. This model has also made it possible to control some of the threats to
external validity as well. Therefore, An “intervention” is more effective that doing
nothing, and, although there is no proof that this type of intervention is better than
others, it does seem to produce an incremental effect that surpasses the effect of the
placebo. For this reason, in systems offering few “incentives”, such evidence-based
educational sessions should be developed.
