The BA Center for Coptic Studies Organizes its 7th Cultural Season

The BA Center for Coptic Studies launched its 7th cultural season in Alexandria, with a lecture entitled “A Reading of the Memoirs of Kulini Pasha Fahmy  ... the Honorable Copt who Built a Mosque.” The lecture took place on 16 September, at 2:00pm, in the Auditorium, and was delivered by Dr. Islam Assem, Lecturer of Modern and Contemporary History at the Higher Institute For Tourism, Hotels & Restoration Of Monuments in Abou Qir, and Director of the Heritage and Traditional Arts Association.

The lecture is historical study of the role of Kulini Pasha (1860-1954), one of the most famous Coptic figures in modern history, who held several important administrative positions, and was awarded the most prestigious Egyptian accolades.

The lecture is part of the scientific events and activities organized by the Coptic Center in Cairo and Alexandria, which feature lectures by specialists in all fields of Coptic studies inside and outside Egypt.
