This lecture is organized by the BA Center for Islamic Civilization and will be delivered by Engineer Osama Fathy, researcher in the History of Science in the Arab world. The lecture will revolve around the development of astronomy in the Islamic civilization, along with a detailed explanation of the components of astronomy equipment, such as the Astrolabe. Furthermore, several astronomy equations will be explained in detail, as well as the use of the miqat in the Islamic civilization.
