The BA Sinnari House (Cairo) is organizing a poetry reading session in both Arabic and French for Mona Latif, an Egyptian Francophone poet and translator, and Sherif el-Shafei, an Egyptian poet.
El-Shafei will recite a few verses from his Arabic diwan Hawaa Gadeer bel Kera’a, which was translated into French by Mona Latif.
Poet Mona Latif will also be reciting a few verses from the same diwan in French along with verses from her own diwan Écailles Alexandrines.
