The BA Sinnari House (Cairo) is organizing this workshop to teach participants how to create Islamic ornaments inspired by different shapes, such as geometric shapes, animals, or plants. This type of art is very prevalent in Islamic architecture.
The workshop will be led by Nader Nahas, one of the renovators of the Suleiyman Pasha Mosque.
The workshop will comprise two theoretical lectures, two field trips to workshops and Islamic antiquities, and four practical training sessions.
