Jean Valjean, a former prisoner, spent nineteen years in prison for stealing a loaf of bread. His life changed and he later became mayor. His attempts to avoid falling into the hands of Inspector Javert, who is trying to send him back to prison, is mixed with the events of the French Revolution.
Based on the novel by Victor Hugo.
The film is in English with Arabic subtitles.
