The “Philosophy in the Hellenistic Period” Conference will pinpoint several themes to explore problems related to philosophy in the Hellenistic period that revolve around philosophy, religion, and history. The main topics of the conference are Hellenistic philosophical schools, religion in the Hellenistic period, schools of philosophy in Alexandria, sciences in the Hellenistic period, and the impact of Hellenistic philosophy and the Alexandria School of Philosophy on Muslim philosophers.
Dr. Mostafa el Feki, Director of the BA, is going to inaugurate the conference. A number of elite professors of Greek and Hellenistic philosophy from various Egyptian universities will be participating in the event.
Admission to the event, which is open to the general public, is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
