Mrs. Mubarak Inaugurates the "1000 Peace Women Across The Globe" Exhibition at the BA

Mrs. Mubarak inaugrated on Wednesday, 24 October 2007 the "1000 Peace Women Across The Globe" Exhibition, organized by the BA as part of the its fifth anniversary celebrations.
Mrs. Mubarak toured the exhibition along with Dr Ruth-Gaby, Member of the Swiss Parliament and Member of the Council of Europe; Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the BA; Dr. Mohsen Youssef, Director of the BA Dialogue Forum; Mrs. Bahia El Hariri; Dr. Iman El Kaffas; Dr. Sahar Sallab; Dr. Anissa Hassuna; Mrs. Nada Thabet; and Mrs. Farida El Alaki.
Following the inauguration of the Exhibition, Mrs. Mubarak gave an address praising the remarkable role played by Arab women in achieving peace in the region and overcoming challenges and obstacles to bring about a tangible positive change in their communities, and become a source of inspiration for all. She added that this exhibition increases public awareness on the role of those successful women in their societies and their remarkable achievements for peace.
