Opening of the Antiquities Museum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

The Antiquities Museum at the BA shall be officially opened to the public beginning on 1st January 2003 for the first time since the official inauguration of the library on the 16th October 2002.
The Antiquities Museum is considered to be a cultural window on the ancient civilizations that the land of Egypt has witnessed. The Museum includes 1080 archeological especially chosen pieces starting with the civilization of the Pharos until the Islamic civilization.
