“Chorale des Mots” Competition at the BA

Alexandria— The BA hosted on Monday, 16 March 2009, a competition entitled “Chorale de Mots” (The Choir of Words), organized by “Les Passeur de Mots” Association in cooperation with the French Cultural Center.
“Chorale de Mots” competition was held to help students master linguistic and physical expression. It took the form of a literary debate between Faculty of Arts, French Department students in Cairo and Alexandria Universities. An individual contest also took place , in which each participant gave a short speech. At the end, Mr. Philippe Guinet, President of the Association, awarded prizes to the winners based on the decisions of the selection committee.
“Les Passeur de Mots” Association aims at propagating French language and Francophone culture worldwide.
