The BA Publishes the First Issue of Memory of Modern Egypt Newsletter

The BA published the first issue of Memory of Modern Egypt quarterly newsletter aiming to present Egypt’s history to the public in a simplified manner.
The newsletter lies in 92 pages, and is generally supervised by Dr. Ismail Serageldin. The newsletter’s Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Khaled Azab, and its managing editor is Suzanne Abed. It is linguistically revised by Ahmed Shaaban and Omar Hazek, and designed by Mohamed Taman.
Dr. Serageldin stated that “since the launch of the Memory of Modern Egypt website on the internet, there has been a wide public interest, thus, we are continuously upgrading the project, especially that the Library still has unpublished material”.
Serageldin emphasized that this kind of newsletters presents rich scientific material in an easy manner that makes it comprehendible to all and pointed out that the Library welcomes any suggestions concerning the newsletter. With the aim to disseminate knowledge, the newsletter was written by a team of researchers, under the supervision of a group of academia.
