"Afandina’s Days" in a Lecture at the BA

The BA Antiquities Museum and the Zahi Hawass Center for Egyptology are organizing a lecture entitled "Afandina’s Days", delivered by Dr. Maged Mohamed Farag, Historian of Egypt’s modern period. It is held on Sunday, 8 December 2022, at 1:00 pm, in the BACC Delegates Hall.
The lecture will shed light on Khedive Ismail, how he ascended the throne, as well as the most significant achievements during his rule. It will also examine the reasons why he was exiled in 1879, and how he lived his life until his death in 1895.
