The Opening of “Culture and Intellectuals… New Horizons” Conference at the BA

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, will inaugurate a conference entitled "Culture and Intellectuals… New Horizons" on Tuesday, 27 December 2022, to discuss future visions for Egyptian culture, in addition to the role of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in spreading culture locally, regionally and globally. The two-day conference will be attended by a group of Egyptian intellectuals, writers and critics, as well as members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Coordination of Party Youth and Politicians (CPYP), as well as university professors and those interested in academic and research work.
The conference includes a number of sessions that discuss issues of literature, art, intellectual and philosophical production, the protection of tangible and intangible heritage, as well as the regional and international dimensions of Egyptian culture.
