The BA Information Services Department is organizing its February 2023 Cinema Club Program, which offers a selection of films depicting epic true stories.

The film is about the struggle of Djamila Bouhired (The famous Algerian heroine), her participation in the Algerian revolution against the French colonization in the middle of the 20th century, and her contribution towards the liberation of Algeria.

The film tells the true story of King George VI, who suffered from a speech impediment. He is unexpectedly crowned king after his brother abdicates the throne. Against all odds, he manages to overcome his speech impediment with the help of an Australian speech therapist.
