Khaled El-Enany in a Seminar at the BA

The BA Cultural Outreach Sector is organizing a seminar entitled "Egypt's Antiquities and Museums: Preserving the Unique Cultural Heritage and Enhancing Tourism Leadership.” The seminar is held upon the invitation of Prof. Ahmed Abdullah Zayed, Director of the BA, to Prof. Khaled El-Enany, former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Egypt's candidate for the position of Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The event will take place on Wednesday, 12 June 2024, at 5:00 pm, in the Reading Area, BA Main Building.
Prof. Khaled El-Enany will discuss his contributions with regard to the protection of cultural heritage in Egypt, especially after his nomination for the position of Director-General of UNESCO for the period from 2025 to 2029. Prof. El-Enany has extensive experience in the field of antiquities and tourism, in addition to his academic and administrative accomplishments that qualify him for this distinguished post, which represents a strategic step for Egypt that reflects its prominent position in various fields.
