Believing in the importance of spreading awareness and culture, especially among the young generation across Egypt, the BA Visits Department presented its program "Your Library in Your School" throughout the month of July, at Badr Al Mubaraka School, Martyr Mohamed Farouk Al-Qersh Preparatory School, and Hoda Shaarawy Language School. The program targets school students and provides an overview of the history of the Library and its services, as part of the permanent and continuous cooperation between the BA and the Ministry of Education.
The visit featured a screening of the film The Bibliotheca Alexandrina: The Past, Present, and Future, which gives an account of the establishment of the old Library and the idea of reviving the new Library. Students from the three schools interacted with the BA representatives who answered all their questions that are related to the Library's activities and events. The Department will resume its visits to most schools in Alexandria and across the country.
