The BA Inaugurates the 27th Embassy of Knowledge at the Technological Institute for Construction Engineering and Management

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the BA, and Eng. Ahmed El Assar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Contractors, inaugurated the 27th BA Embassy of Knowledge at the Arab Contractors’ Technological Institute for Construction Engineering and Management. The ceremony was attended by a delegation of BA officials, including Dr. Mohamed Soliman, Head of the Cultural Outreach Sector; Eng. Ahmed Samir, Head of the Information and Communication Technology Sector; Dr. Ashraf Farrag, Supervisor of the Embassies of Knowledge Project; journalist Alaa Abdel Hady, Media Advisor to the BA; Eng. Ahmed Abdel Wahed, Director of the Infrastructure Department at the Library’s ICT Sector, together with board members of the Arab Contractors.
Dr. Ahmed Zayed said that this protocol is the beginning of a constructive cooperation between two major and influential Egyptian institutions with regional and international, namely the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Arab Contractors, adding that work on this embassy was completed in record time, not exceeding three months from the date of its establishment until its opening. He noted that this is the 27th embassy in a series of Embassies of Knowledge established by the BA in Egypt and abroad.
He also mentioned that the new embassy is now open to visitors and users, including researchers, workers, and all employees of the Arab Contractors, to provide them with its scientific, research, and cultural services free of charge.
For his part, Eng. Ahmed Al-Assar pointed out that this protocol comes in line with the state's directions towards digital transformation, and aims to refine the skills of the Arab Contractors’ employees and enable them to keep pace with the development in this field.
