The Consul General of Lebanon in a Visit to the BA

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, met with Consul Abeer Ali, Consul General of Lebanon in Alexandria. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities to enhance and support future cultural cooperation between the Library, with its huge potential, and the Lebanese Republic. The Consul listened to an explanation on the role and mission of the Library in Egypt, the Arab Region, and the Mediterranean basin.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Zayed presented the Consul of Lebanon with a number of BA publications. The meeting was followed by a tour of the Library.
