Lecture: "Get to Know More about the Thyroid Gland"

The BA Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in cooperation with the Endocrinology Unit of the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, is organizing a lecture entitled "Get to Know More about the Thyroid Gland" on Thursday, 13 February 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm (Cairo time), at the BACC Lecture Hall.

This lecture aims to raise awareness about the thyroid gland, its vital role in the human body, and the disorders that can affect its function. It will also cover the latest developments in research and trends in this regard.

  1. Professor Tamer El-Sherbiny, Professor of Endocrinology and Head of the Internal Medicine Department, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University.
  2. Dr. Ahmed, Alaa, Lecturer of Endocrinology, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University.
  3. Professor Aliaa El-Aghouri, Professor of Endocrinology, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University. 

Lecture Moderator:

 Professor Dr. Iman Azzam, Professor of Endocrinology and Head of the Endocrinology Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University.

This lecture is organized within the framework of  the Health Education Club (HEC); one of the CSSP’S programs. HEC is a public health awareness program that provides the public community with the opportunity to learn and share insights about a healthy lifestyle through regular educational sessions addressing various health topics.
