BA Director Receives Delegation from Emirates Library and Information Association

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, has received in his office a delegation from the Board of Directors of the Emirates Library and Information Association, headed by Fahd Ali Al-Maamari. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Soliman, Acting Deputy Director of the BA, and Ms. Heba El-Rafey, Acting Head of the External Relations and Media Sector.
During the meeting, Dr. Zayed affirmed the BA's openness to cooperation with major international libraries, including those established in the Arab Gulf region, and praised the qualitative leap witnessed by the library sector in those countries.
Following the meeting, Dr. Zayed exchanged commemorative gifts with the guests, after which the delegation members took a tour of the BA.
