The BA Organizes a Workshop Entitled “Methods of Preparing Research for Peer-Reviewed International Publication to Support Decision-Making”

The BA Center for Strategic Studies, in collaboration with the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies, Taylor & Francis, and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, is organizing a workshop entitled: “Methods of Preparing Research for Peer-Reviewed International Publication to Support Decision-Making” on Sunday, 14 December 2025, at 12:00 pm, in the BACC Small Theater.
The workshop is part of a national project that aims to enhance the capacities of Egyptian researchers in producing high-quality, internationally recognized research, with a particular focus on the fields of political science and economics. This initiative represents an important collaboration between global publishing expertise, national knowledge infrastructure, and strategic academic leadership.
The workshop aims to develop advanced skills in preparing research for publication in peer-reviewed international journals, understanding strategic approaches to conducting research that supports effective decision-making, enhancing the visibility and impact of Egyptian research in the global academic discourse, and supporting the status of Egyptian academic institutions as centers of research excellence. It targets researchers and faculty members at Egyptian universities and research centers, political science and economics graduate students, and those interested in international publishing.
This initiative combines the expertise of the BA with the strategic experience of the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies, Taylor & Francis (the world's largest publisher in the social sciences and humanities), and the national knowledge infrastructure of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. The aim is to empower Egyptian researchers and strengthen the position, credibility, and impact of Egyptian research in supporting decision-making at the regional and global levels.
Lecturing on “Research Strategies to Support Decision-Making” is Major General Dr. Hesham El-Halaby, Advisor to the Director of the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies.
The Egyptian Knowledge Bank session will be presented by Ms. Ola Lawrence, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
The session “Publishing Journey: Choosing a Journal, Submitting, and Maximizing the Impact of Research” will be presented by Mr. Mohamed Adel, Business Development Manager at Taylor & Francis for the Middle East and North Africa.
At the end of the workshop, trainees will receive a certificate acknowledging their attendance and participation in the workshop.
