Geometry of Arabic Calligraphy and its Effect on Contemporary Photography

Alexandria, 28 June 2005—The Calligraphy Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a lecture, 30 June 2005, on the geometry of Arabic calligraphy and its effect on contemporary photography. The lecture features Professor Ahmed El-Abhar, Professor of Arabic Calligraphy at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, and is chaired by Professor Abdelhalim Nureldin, Director of the Calligraphy Center.
The lecture begins at 12:00 pm at the Auditorium.
