Scopus® at The Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Alexandria — the Bibliotheca Alexandrina announced that the library will make Scopus®, the world’s largest abstract and citation database of research information available to its community making Scopus the latest addition to the BA.
Scopus® covers the world’s research literature, Scopus® is the largest and easiest to use navigation tool ever built designed and developed by over 300 users and librarians internationally. Its database contains abstracts and references from over 15,000 titles from 4,000 different publishers, ensuring broad interdisciplinary coverage. Scopus® also offers users citations in relation to the articles covered, and integrates web and patent searches directly. comprehensive to use than any other literature research tool.
“Our new library is designed to recapture the ancient library’s heritage of science, discovery, dialogue and learning,” said Dr. Sohair Wastawy, chief librarian of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. “Scopus® is an essential addition.
