The BA will hold on Tuesday, 19 June 2007, a concert by Artist Souad Massi.
Souad Massi, was born in Algiers, Algeria to a family of performers. She started her artistic journey as a guitarist at the age of seventeen in Algerian theaters. Singer, Songwriter and Guitarist Souad Massi, in few years, succeeded in finding her way through as a star on the French artistic arena, after performing at the Femmes d'Algerie concert in Paris in 1999. She is considered the spokesperson of the Algerian youth.
The Concert is held under the auspices of Association Culture France, in cooperation with the French TV5, Egyptian Opera House, Supreme Council or Antiquities, Cultural Development Fund, and the BA.
The Concert will start at 20:00 hrs. at the Plaza of Civilization at the BA.
