Gabon Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Visits the BA

Laura Jondjot, Gabon Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, accompanied by a senior delegation, will visit the BA on Friday, 5 September 2008, as a scientific and cultural landmark not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but the entire world.
Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria; Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector; and Dr. Sherif Riad, Head of the Public Relations Department, will accompany the delegation on a tour of the Library and introduce to them the different services offered by the BA to its members and visitors.
The tour will include the Manuscript and Rare Books Museum, the Antiquities Museum, the Digital Lab, the Vista, the Planetarium Science Center, the Alexploratorium, the Culturama, and the Impressions of Alexandria Exhibition (Mohamed Awad’s Collection).
