Space Technology Program at the BA

Alexandria—In collaboration with the National Authority of Remote Sensing and Space Science (NARSS), the Planetarium Science Center (PSC) organizes the “Space Technology” program from 12 February to 2 April 2009.
Targeting the age group from 15 to 20 years old, the program aims to simplify satellite components and applications, as well as image processing. It achieves its goal through multiple hands-on activity such as lectures, fieldtrip and software programs. Participants will work, in groups, on a final project that they will present to the other groups at the end of the program. The Space Technology Program is an activity of the International Year of Astronomy (IYA 2009).
