First Alexandrina World Music Festival at the BA

Alexandria—The BA Arts Center, in cooperation with the European Commission, are organizing the First Alexandrina World Music Festival from 4 to 10 April 2009. Six Euro-Mediterranean countries are participating, namely: Egypt, Algeria, Germany, Greece, Italy and Macedonia.
The Festival seeks to become a prominent event in Egypt’s musical world so as to enhance cultural dialogue and increase interest in world music.
All Concerts will take place at the BACC at 8:00 pm, except for the Closing Ceremony on 10 April 2009, which will start at 3:00 pm at the Plaza Open Air Theater.
