May Film Screenings at the BA

Alexandria—The BA Arts Center is organizing a number of film screenings during May 2009. Thursday, 7 May 2009, will witness film Premiere Winter's Day Visits. The film is about an ordinary day in the life of an ordinary young man, tackling his relation with his family, friends, society and power. The screening is followed by a discussion with the director, Ismaeel Hamdy.
From 9 to 12 May 2009, Istvan Szabo’s Trilogy Mephist (1981), Colonel Redl (1984), and Hanussen (1988) will be screened. Szabo is the one and only Hungarian director to win the Oscar to date.
All screenings will take place at the BA Auditorium at 7:00 pm and are open to the public for free.
