Omar Hazeq Wins First Award in Poetry

Alexandria—Alexandrian Poet Omar Hazeq, Specialist at the BA Publishing Department, has recently won the first award in “Love, Justice and Peace in the World” Festival that was held in San Giovanni, Italy, on 22 and 23 May 2009.
The International Festival, held under the auspices of the Italian House of Parliament, included, in addition to poetry, music and plastic arts. The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Taha Mater, the Egyptian Cultural Attaché in Rome, and several Egyptian writers and envoys.
