Faust in a Play Reading at the BA

Alexandria— The Reference Services Unit is holding its monthly play reading in English on Wednesday, 12 August 2009. Participants will read Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
Goethe’s masterpiece, a classic of German and Western literature published in two parts, dramatizes the confrontation between good and evil, humans and the devil. In his quest for the true essence of life, Faust agrees to sell his soul to Mephistopheles (the devil) after his death, for he believes such a moment shall never come. The pact is sealed with a drop of his own blood.
The session starts at 16:00 hrs. at the BA Arts and Multimedia Library. Participants should register their names at the General Information Desk at the Library entrance.
