The BA Screens 12 Saudi Films during the Short Film Forum

Alexandria—The Short Film Forum, organized by the BA Arts Center on the first Sunday of each month, is held on 1 Sunday 1 November 2009, and screens 12 Saudi films for young filmmakers, produced since 2006.

The Screening starts by Mougarad Youm (Day Like Any Day), directed by Nawaf Mehana, El-Demoukrateya (The Democracy) directed by Meshal El-Anzi, Baedan An Anzar El-Kamira (Far From The Camera) directed by Nayef Fayez, Tamaroud (Rebellion) directed by Abd El-Aziz El-Nigem, Teflat El-Sama (A Child From The Sky) directed by Aly El-Amir, Al-Samt (The Silence)directed by Tawfik Al-Zaidi , Asseel (Original)directed by Faisal Al-Harbi, Al-Hesn (The Fortress)directed by Faisal Al-Eteiby, Mugarrad Kalema (Just A Word) directed by Samir Aref Matar (Rain)directed by Abdallah Al-Ayyaf, Mughamarat Nammoul (Nammoul's Adventures) directed by Abdallah Al-Ayyaf, and Muhemmat Tefl (A Child's Mission) directed by Mamdouh Salem.

All films are short fiction, except for one animation film. They are screened with English or French subtitles.

The Screening is attended by Director Mamdouh Salem, and is followed by a discussion about cinema industry in Saudi Arabia moderated by Critic Samir Fraid.

It is worth mentioning that the BA Cinema Program covers cinema worldwide.
