Fathy Saleh Receives Prize from the Spanish Society of Virtual Archeology

Dr. Fathy Saleh, Director of the BA Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT), based in Cairo, has recently received the Tartessos Prize from the Spanish Society of Virtual Archeology, in recognition of his contributions to the field of virtual archeology.
Saleh was handed the prize in a ceremony on the fringe line of a the Second International Meeting on Graphic Archeology and Informatics (Arqueológica 2.0) held in Seville, Spain.
CULTNAT works on employing advanced technology to preserve Arab heritage by digitizing it and making it available online.
