The BA Antiquities Museum started using Braille Cards describing its most significant collections to ensure social inclusion of the visually impaired and people with special needs. The Cards portray and provide detailed information about the antiquities to enhance the blind and visually impaired historical knowledge. The initiative is done in cooperation with the BA Taha Hussein Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The BA Antiquities Museum is the second museum in Egypt after the Egyptian Museum to offer this service.

The BA Antiquities Museum is the first museum in the world to be located inside a library. It houses 1133 pieces covering different periods of Egyptian history including the Pharonic, Greek and Roman, Coptic and Islamic eras.
