Canadian Ambassador delivers generous donation

In April, Mr. Michel de Salaberry, Canadian Ambassador to Egypt, visited the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, accompanied by Mr. Jean Philippe Tachdjian, Political and Cultural Attaché at the Canadian embassy, to present the Library with 300 children"s books, and another 300 books in a variety of fields. It was the third Canadian gift since the Library"s opening in 2002.
Ambassador Taher Khalifa, Director of the External Relations Sector at the Library, stated that the gift conveys a strong affiliation between Egypt and Canada, within the context of enriching the Library"s content.
