BA Prepares to Launch “Enlightenment Arcade”

Dr. Mostafa el Feki, BA director, has announced that the BA is preparing to launch “Enlightenment Arcade”, which will hold scientific discussions concerning philosophical, social, economic and intellectual issues. Dr. el Feki stressed that the dialogues make up the very basis of debate, as well as the criticism and analysis of Humanities. It furthermore promotes intellectual exchanges with the West, particularly concerning different intellectual fields in China, Japan and India, as well as in Europe, USA, Canada, and Latin America.
Dr. Khaled Azab, Head of the BA Central Projects and Services Sector, added that the Arcade lectures will be open for the public and youth to attend, and will include a dialectic between several experts who will be asked questions regarding the subject matter. Following this is a discussion between them and the attending audience. Moreover, the Arcade will cover economic issues and their contemporary trends, technology and its transformative role in societies, and communal heritage and identity.
It should be noted that these efforts fall within the framework of restructuring the BA and its activities since the appointment of Dr. Mostafa el Feki as the new BA director.
