The BA Antiquities Museum screens a children’s animation film about mummification in English and Arabic, presenting how ancient Egyptians prepared mummies to guarantee the dead would live to the afterlife.

The Antiquities Museum organizes annual programs on museum education during summer vacations targeting children and young people from 9 to 16 years old.

The Summer Program comprises workshops on museum education using different materials, including: drawing using coal, pastel, acrylic, and wood; drawing on papyrus, glass, and foam; carving gypsum and limestone; and graving using clay and slime. It also includes a number of lectures as well as film screenings to raise children’s archeological awareness.
