Call for Application: Arab-Christian Heritage Diploma

The BA is announcing a call for application in the Arab-Christian heritage diploma. The course is organized by the Center for Middle Eastern Christianity (CMEC) and... supervised by the BA Center for Coptic Studies for the third consecutive year.

The diploma is taught by a group of experts in the field. It includes a variety of subjects and topics, including Arab-Christian heritage, Coptic heritage, early Muslim-Christian dialogue, Arab-Christian poets, Arabic translations of the bible, and more.

This is the first course of its kind in the history of higher education in Egypt. It aims to shed light on and promote studying the various aspects of heritage created by Christians in Egypt and the Arab world, especially after the Muslim conquest of Egypt and considering Muslim-Christian relations.

The diploma lasts for two academic semesters, and the lectures will be held weekly each Friday and Saturday at 12:00 noon at the Evangelical Theological Seminary, al-Sekka al-Baidaa Street, Abbassia, Cairo.

The course is set to begin at the end of September 2018. It is noteworthy that the call for application is open for interested students, researchers, and graduates from all different universities and academies.
