The BA Opens Participation in the Workshop “Alexandria’s Heritage through a Contemporary Graphic Vision”

The Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center (Alex Med) organizes a workshop entitled “Alexandria’s Heritage through a Contemporary Graphic Vision,” from 28 to 31 October 2018.
The workshop includes an introduction to the history and civilization of Alexandria and an overview of its architectural heritage, as well as an introduction to graphic design and its basics. It also tackles how to create designs inspired by the heritage and civilization of Alexandria.
Training in this workshop will be conducted by Dr. Mina Nader, Graphic Designer at the Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center, who holds a PhD in the re-employment of interior spaces of heritage buildings in Alexandria.

It is worth mentioning that the Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center is concerned with the study of Alexandria throughout the ages and in all cultural fields such as the tangible and non-tangible heritage, archaeology and arts. It also researches the current situation of the city in all developmental aspects such as transportation, housing, agriculture and industry, in addition to the study of the city’s future and its urbanization.
