A Day to Support Girls in Science and Technology “SHE MADE IT” at the BA

The “Businesswomen of Alexandria” and “Businesswomen of Egypt 21” Societies, in cooperation with the Academic Sector’s Women's Studies and Social Transformation Program at the BA, organize the event second day of the event to support girls in science and technology “SHE MADE IT” on Saturday, 27 October 2018 at the BA under the auspecies of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in partnership with the National Council for Women and Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology.
“SHE MADE IT” is an initiative launched by German association GPP, in cooperation with the Society of Businesswomen in Germany (VDU) and five societies of businesswomen from the Middle East, to support girls in the study of science and technology and encourage them to start their own projects in these fields.
Both “Businesswomen of Alexandria” and “Businesswomen of Egypt 21” represent Egypt in this initiative which includes a series of lectures and workshops for high school and college girls as well as graduates and entrepreneurs in the field of science and technology, with an aim to help girls achieve their goals and overcome the obstacles they face.
It is worth mentioning that the Nile University hosted the first day of this initiative through its program “Leaders of the Nile” that took place in April 2018 and was held at the University headquarters in the 6th of October district. The event was attended by high school and college girls as well as graduates and those concerned with this field.
