"Numismatics as a Source for Studying Islamic History and Civilization" .. A Training Course at the BA

The BA Center for Islamic Civilization Studies organizes a training course entitled “Numismatics as a Source for Studying Islamic History and Civilization”, from 5 to 7 February 2019, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, in the BACC Delegates Hall. It is led by Dr. Atef Mansour, Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, Fayoum University. The session is aimed at undergraduates and postgraduates specializing in history, archaeology and Islamic civilization. It also targets museum curators and specialists in heritage studies, as well as those concerned with issues of currency and monetary exchange in the Middle Ages.
