Sheikh Al Qasimi Supports the BA in a Meeting with Dr. Elfeki

His Royal Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, welcomed Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the BA, at the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF), and showed his great support to the BA, as he directed that the construction of the BA building in Abis be swiftly completed in order to accommodate the vast number of books and documents, and to hold several cultural activities. His Royal Highness launched the 11th round of Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival, with the participation of 56 Arab and foreign countries, from 17 to 27 April 2019. The festival is held under the auspices of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Head of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority. As part of the festival, Sheikh Sultan handed out prizes to the winners of the Children’s Books Illustrations Competition.
Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, together with Dr. Saber Arab and Dr. Abdel Wahed Al-Nabawy, Former Ministers of Culture, and a host of writers and artists accompanied His Highness during the festival’s opening ceremony, and visited a number of projects in Khor Fakkan to witness the latest developments in the region.
It is worth mentioning that Khor Fakkan is a coastal city and exclave of the Emirate of Sharjah. It is considered one of the most beautiful cities on the coast of the UAE due to the picturesque view of its coast and the mountains surrounding it.
