BioVisionAlexandria 2020 at the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing the tenth biennial of the international conference “BioVisionAlexandria 2020” (BVA 2020). It will take place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina from 9 to 11 April 2020, under the theme “New Life Sciences: Shaping the Future”.
The Conference will tackle the emerging role of life sciences in shaping the future, with special attention to the role of life sciences in the 4th industrial revolution. The Conference will also shed light on the innovations in the field of life sciences and related domains. Moreover, there will be a special focus on the technological advances that are attracting global attention such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and other technologies.
BVA conference represents a unique opportunity that gathers more than 2000 participants, mostly university students and academics, as well as over 150 keynote speakers from different countries, including Nobel Laureates, eminent scientists, ministers, and CEOs of several national and multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnological and agriculture companies. Alongside this significant event, the BA organizes a major fair titled “BioFair@BioVisionAlexandria 2020”, and a poster session for young researchers and scientists.
An interactive event will be held in collaboration with the World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries (TWAS) for young researchers from the developing world “TWAS/BVA.Nxt”. This event takes place during the two days preceding the BioVisionAlexandria conference.
