“Messages from the Living to the Dead” in a Seminar at the BA

The Calligraphy Center affiliated to the Academic Research Center is organizing an online seminar entitled “Messages from the Living to the Dead” on Tuesday, 1 September 2020 at 5:00 pm.
The Center hosts Dr. Fayza Haikal, Professor of Egyptology, and Dr. Hesham El-Leithy, Head of the Central Department for Egyptian Antiquities in Cairo and Giza and Head of the Center for Documentation of Egyptian Antiquities. They will speak about the phenomenon of sending letters to the deceased in Ancient Egypt from a historical, archeological, and social perspectives through a book entitled “Letters to the Dead in Ancient Egypt: A Comparative Study between the Past and Present”.
