The Music of Rageh Daoud in a Concert at the BA

The BA Arts Center organizes a concert dedicated to the works of the great Artist Rageh Daoud, and conducted by Maestro Nayer Nagui. It is held on Friday, 13 November 2020, at 7:00 pm, in the BACC Great Hall.
Rageh Daoud is an Egyptian composer, born in 1954 in Cairo. He received his BA in musical composition from the Cairo Conservatoire in 1977, and his PhD from the Vienna Music Academy.
Daoud worked as a professor in the Department of Composition and Conducting, at the Cairo Conservatoire. He composed the soundtracks for several award-winning films, and collaborated with the most prominent Egyptian filmmakers. Moreover, he composed the Mauritanian national anthem, and was honored both regionally and internationally.
