“Sustainable Development Goals in the Aftermath of the Coronavirus Pandemic” in a Webinar at the BA

The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program organizes a webinar entitled “Sustainable Development Goals in the Aftermath of the Coronavirus Pandemic” on Monday, 15 March 2021, at 2:00 pm.

The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development. It will be moderated by Ambassador Nada El-Agizy, Head of the Sustainable Development Department at the Arab League.

A host of experts in the field of sustainable development will take part in the event, including Mr. Osama El-Gohary, Head of the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC), and Dr. Hussein Abaza, Sustainable Development and Green Economy Counsellor.

The webinar aims to address the most important challenges facing the goals of sustainable development in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. It will tackle the role of individuals and institutions in implementing the goals of sustainable development, and will shed light on Egypt’s vision for 2030, and the achievements made in this domain.

It is worth mentioning that this is the fifth event in a series of webinars held by the Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program, which attempt to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on all aspects of life.
