“Women throughout the Ages”… An Online Course at the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina organizes a free online course titled “Women throughout the Ages”, from 21 to 23 September 2021, at 12:00 pm.
The course includes three lectures taking place over three days and delivered by Dr. Hussein Abd El-Bassir, Head of the Antiquities Museum Department, and Acting Director of the Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology; Dr. Galal Refai, Publishing Specialist, and Acting Deputy Director of the Antiquities Museum; and Dr. Kareem Hamza, Specialist in Islamic Antiquities.
The lectures tackle the pioneering role of women over the centuries, from the ancient Egyptian civilization to the Greco-Roman and Islamic periods. Participants will end the course with a tour of the BA departments and collections, in addition to a special tour of the Antiquities Museum as a practical application.
